My dance style is a fusion of mostly Hip-Hop w/ elements of Trained Dance! I was apart of a Drill Team, danced for my University & went on to teach Hip-Hop & Jazz! Love pop-locking & good ol’ twerking! But growing up, I was inspired by everything from Michael & Janet’s “Scream” to Juvi’s Back That A** Up - It TRULY wasn’t until Ciara though that I saw someone that not only danced how I wanted to, but inspired me to choreograph & dance ALOT!
Aside from fulfilling a dream of dancing w/ Ciara, being named the next Dance Icon would provide me w/ exposure being hidden in a small town couldn’t! SKYS THE LIMIT!!! I honestly think people will watch & go, “DID YALL SEE THE SMALL GIRL W/ THE LONG LEGS GETTIN’ IT W/ CiCi?!” I know everything can’t be roses but I’m truly ready to be the example needed in this world!
$3,000: Tithes & Charity $8,000: I’d be able to invest in myself (videographer packages for dance freestyles, cameras & lights if needed). I’d simultaneously put on dance pop-ups & workshops while helping spread the initiative of inclusion! $9000: Renovate Grandmas roof, bathrooms, & install central heat & air!!!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
