My danced style is a mix of hip hop, contemporary, and HBCU majorette. When I dance, people tend to say they see a different side of me. The way I work my eyes, facials, and energy is what I believe gain most people attention. My inspiration came experiencing this explosive exciting feelings when the lights hit my face on a stage ready to speak through my movements for the very first time many years ago. Today I make people who look up to me proud, and that’s one of the best feelings.
Being in Ciara’s music video will impact my life by helping me start up my dance career on a higher level. I believe it will form a new creative mindset on top of the one I have currently. It will also help me become more inspirational to show others that it’s possible to reach that breakthrough no matter what life hits you with.
If I were to receive the blessing of the cash reward , as a college student, I would put some on the side in order to help pay for school and help my family out a ton. Since I have been dancing for many years I understand how expensive certain classes can be. I would find a special someone and give back so she or he can live out their dream in a class, which could lead up to something more for them. Everyone deserves a chance to chase their dreams.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
