I have been dancing for 19 years and am trained in every style of dance from Ballet to Majorette! Being a techinicaly trained dancer has allowed me to explore so many different aspects of expression and tap into another side of my self. I continue to dance after all of these years because of how good it feels to move and relinquish control of everyday life.
Being in Ciara’s music video would not only be an incredible opportunity to showcase my skills on a big stage, but it would also be a chance to connect with one of the most influential artists in the dance and music world. The energy, the choreography, the vibe—everything about it would push me to grow, refine my craft, and take my career to a whole new level. Plus, the experience of dancing alongside such talented people would inspire me to keep growing and pushing!
I am currently in my last semester of undergraduate school and am pursing graduate school in the fall as a Doctor of Physical Therapy Student. $20,000 would be a significant contrinution to my schooling and tuition. It would take away some of the stress that already comes with being a college student. It would be a blessing that benefits me beyond the competition.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
