Growing up in the 90’s, I’ve been inspired by the greats like Michael Jackson, Missy, Chris Brown, Usher, and Ciara! My mom inspired me to take my first hip hop class and instantly I fell in love with this style of art. I’ve been blessed to have many impactful mentors, instructors, and colleagues across multiple genres of dance.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a highlight of my life! It will hopefully open the door of getting signed to a dance agency and help progress my professional career.
I will use the $20,000 to further continue developing a company I plan to launch in the near future. My goal is to directly impact the number of paid opportunities dancers can find in the local area and help guide our industry to become more stable.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
