My dance style is a fusion of heels and hip-hop. Ciara and Aaliyah were my primary dance inspirations. They embodied strength, power, and sexiness all at once. Their movements exuded a captivating beauty. I would constantly practice the choreography to “Promise” and “Like a Boy.” “Music makes me lose control” remains my favorite song. I enjoy dancing with a smooth and flowing style, incorporating powerful and impactful movements.
It would transform my life. I’d prove God’s glory! I’ve been in 4 car accidents, one leaving me temporarily disabled for 7 months. Now, I dance, running my own dance business. After not being able to walk, dancing was already a dream come true, but dancing next to Ciara surpasses my dreams. It would also inspire hundreds of plus-size queens who follow me, showing them they can do it too.
The goal is a nurturing and inclusive environment, established as a dance studio that doubles as a daycare center. My vision is to provide mothers with a safe and accessible space to engage in dance, regardless of their ability to secure childcare. The studio will feature spacious and comfortable dance floors, equipped with cold towels for enhanced comfort. Additionally, a storage unit will be utilized to store donations for the homeless and those in need of clothing and food.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
