My dance style is very cutthroat. A fusion between contemporary and hip hop with a slice of intensity and sharpness. I’m inspired through music and mental health. My choreography stems from my own experiences and challenges throughout life.
Ciara music video would impact my life my giving me the experience I’ve only dreamt of. I grew up listening, watching and learning from Ciara and finally even getting the chance to move alongside her would be a step closer to my career path. The impact of being able to showcase who I am in-front of the world and the people I love is life changing.
I would use the $20000 to start opening the mental health dance studio that is my main goal as a mover. Giving dancers a safe space that focuses more on their mental state than how good of a dancer they have to be to be successful in the dance world. I’ll also make sure my home dance community is also taken care since they’re the ones who inspired me and gave me my first chance as a dancer.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
