I was enrolled in my first dance class at the age of 3 years old. Dance is my life style so much so that I am in my 1st year of college majoring in dance and choreography at VCU. I am inspired by all genres of dance ballet, hip hop, modern, tap, point, and lyrical. No matter what style of dance I perform the feeling I get when I hit the stage and connect with the audience brings a satisfaction that is unexplainable.
Outside of it just being a dream come true being in Ciara’s music video, this opportunity will open up future endeavors as I pursue my dance career. This will provide an opportunity for me to share my gift in dance with the world. This will also allow me to present my strong technique and stage presence for all to enjoy.
If I had $20,000 I would use it to help me further my dance career. This will assist me in being able to travel more to auditions and take advantage of opportunities that are difficult to do at this time due to my limited financial resources. I would also give to my dance studio that laid the foundation and cultivated me into the dancer I am today.
