I’m more of a jazz funk/ hip hop type of dancer, but that is not all I can do!!! I am trained in just about every style. Ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater just to name a few. I’ve been dancing since the age of 13, when I started I weighed 585lbs and I’ve lost over 250lbs. So I know what dance can do for people that look like me. Being in Ciara’s music video would be a huge impact on my life because I’ve never had an opportunity to actually show the world what I can do. The Exposure alone would be a huge benefit because as you know most can’t afford to travel back and forward to LA or NYC for huge auditions, the professional videos of you doing choreography for your socials, and the big fancy agents. EXPOSER is key for most dancers success.
I would invest the $20,000 dollars in myself. It would be a way for me to travel to auditions, it would help pay to continue my education in dance, it would help with moving closer to where auditions most auditions are. $20,000 dollars may not seem to be a lot for some people but to me that is a lot and it would help me in so many ways!!!!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
