My dance style is hip hop, street jazz, and tap based. I’ve studied all styles growing up, but after moving to NYC at age 18, I started to focus on performance based choreography as one of my dreams is to backup dance in music videos and go on tour with famous artists. I also have a unique style I call “Street Tap” that blends Tap with Street Styles that brings something new and fresh to the table that sets me apart from other street style dancers and choreographers.
Ciara has always been such a huge inspiration to me so being in her music video would allow me to meet one of my biggest heroes. Overall, It would completely change my life giving me the shot I’ve been praying for since I was a kid. It would open so many doors and bring in so many new opportunities I would not have gotten otherwise and I would be eternally grateful.
I would use the $20,000 to invest in myself by taking more classes to further my training, and traveling to teach more classes to continue inspiring/be inspired by talented artists. I would also like to give back to the people who have supported me financially like my parents because they’ve made a lot of sacrifices to help me get where I am today. Finally, I would like to donate to causes that support Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+ Rights, and Women’s Rights, just to name a few.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
