Ciara has always been a huge inspiration to me. Like me, she’s from Atlanta, and I’ll never forget that she shot Goodies on the very street I grew up on. Her passion for music was food to my soul, fueling my love for dance. My biggest inspiration, though, is my mom—her dedication and passion as a seamstress taught me the power of hard work and creativity. My dance style blends hip-hop, band, and modern dance, allowing me to express myself with energy, rhythm, and storytelling.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be a dream come true and a life-changing opportunity. I have always wanted to dance professionally, but I chose to further my education and got caught up in classes, which kept me from fully pursuing my passion. This experience would reignite my love for dance, proving that it’s never too late to chase my dreams. It would also give me the confidence and motivation to finally take steps toward opening my own dance studio in Southwest Atlanta.
If I received $20,000, I would help cover my mother’s lung cancer treatment expenses, including co-pays, scans, and treatments. I would also donate to cancer organizations to support families facing similar challenges. Additionally, I’ve always dreamed of opening a dance studio in Southwest Atlanta, and this funding would help bring that vision to life by supporting initial costs like planning, securing a space, or purchasing equipment to create a positive space for the community!
