I’m inspired by a wide range of dance styles, from bachata to hip-hop, breakdancing, contemporary, and more. I love blending elements from each to create my own unique freestyle. Every style adds something new to my movement, and I strive to make each performance personal and expressive. Dance allows me to connect with the music and my emotions, and by mixing different influences, I can continuously evolve and push the boundaries of my own creativity.
Ever since I was young and heard Ciara’s debut single, I was immediately inspired to learn her moves and try to mimic them. Being in one of her music videos would be life-changing, as I’d want to inspire others. I want them to know that not having formal training or professional guidance doesn’t mean your dreams can’t come true. Passion, determination, and hard work can take you places, no matter your background or experience.
I’ve spent most of my career in the nonprofit sector, and if I had the opportunity, I would donate a portion of the proceeds to Open Door Exchange, the nonprofit I work for on Long Island. Part of the funds would go towards helping cover the costs for my partner and I to have the wedding we’ve always dreamed of. And finally the rest would be to open my own creative space for all walks of life.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
