My dance style is a blend of contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz, infused with my unique perspective as a minority and disabled dancer. I draw inspiration from overcoming challenges and expressing resilience, strength, and joy through movement. Dance has always been my way of telling stories, breaking barriers, and celebrating individuality. Iconic performers like Ciara inspire me to push boundaries and bring my authentic self to the stage.
Being in Ciara's music video would be a life-changing experience, amplifying my voice as a minority and disabled dancer. It would be an opportunity to inspire others by showing that diversity and perseverance can break barriers. Ciara's artistry has always been a source of motivation, and dancing alongside her would fuel my passion to continue defying expectations and uplifting others through movement. It’s a dream that would push me closer to my goals and empower others to chase theirs.
I would save the $20,000 to help me achieve my dream of opening my own dance studio one day. My goal is to create an inclusive space where dancers of all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences can feel empowered to express themselves through movement. This studio would be a place to celebrate diversity, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of dancers to dream big and embrace their individuality.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
