Dance is where I just let it all out- to become one with the beat- you have to feel it to get it. Whatever stressed me that day can be taken out in dance. It’s my safe place. When it comes to style - I love to play a character. To tell a story. From hard hitting, to smooth- grooving, add a trick in there & that’s me. I can be sassy and cut throat all in one.
Growing up in the 90’s I grew up watching Ciara’s music videos on MTV - her moves and style always inspired me to perform for my family at a young age. Being in the music video would impact me so much with exposure, having a single mom who struggled to the pay the bills- it was hard to go out there and get opportunities that others could. This would be a dream.
My dream has always been to have my own studio- but to be able to provide affordable dance classes to everyone. My mother had to struggle to get me to be in what I wanted to do- and I want to provide a space where anyone can come. So many young kids miss out due to finances. I want to create an affordable space where kids can be happy, feel safe, be confident, and dance their hearts out.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
