My dance style blends commercial and concert dance. I started training at a local studio in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics, and contemporary. In high school and college, I focused on concert dance, especially pointe work, ballet, Graham technique, Horton, and floorwork. I didn’t want to lose my commercial roots, so I continued taking commercial classes in my spare time. After years of training, I’ve developed an athletic contemporary style that keeps evolving.
From a young age, I always knew that dance was my calling. Being part of this video would be a huge milestone in my journey. It would be a life-changing opportunity and a way for me to fulfill a lifelong dream I’ve had since I was younger. This would be a significant achievement, and I would be proud to tell my younger self that I’ve made it happen.
With the $20,000, I would want to give back to my family. They’ve always been my biggest supporters, even when I doubted whether dance was a viable path for me. No matter the sacrifices, they always saw my passion for dance and did everything in their power to support me. I would start by showing my gratitude for their endless love and encouragement.
