I first started dancing as a kid to just dance. Later on, I decided to quit volleyball after 5 years, and try out dance at my local studio. The class I was put into I decided was too easy for me, and decided to join cheer. I taught myself how to dance and pick up choreography quickly through watching kpop girl groups. I feel like I am my true authentic self when I am dancing, and I always have fun while doing it.
I have always wanted to be apart of the music industry/performance industry. This would impact my life because if I was given the opportunity, it could help kickstart my dream career.
I am currently a college student and cheerleader for my college, so I would put a good chunk of it to my student loans and bills. I would also use part of it to help my mom pay for her medical bills. In August of last year my mother got diagnosed with breast cancer, thankfully in the beginning stages. My family is not the most wealthy, so these medical bills are hurting our financial situation. My parents, especially my mom have done so much for me that I’d like to give back to them.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
