My dance style is definitely hip hop and jazz, especially when it’s a mix of both! I started dancing when I was 8 years old, and soon it became my passion. My dance teacher Roxanne really made me into who I am and how I dance. She’s pushed me to do beyond what I thought I could do, helped me, and gave me so many opportunities.
Being in Ciara’s music video would absolutely make me speechless. I have had a solo to her song, 1 2 Step, (hip hop jazz) performed it at our recital and competed it in a pageant , which I placed 3rd runner up in! I have also done a dance to Get Up with my school dance team 3 years in a row, and 2 years I was the blessed to be the center of it! Being in her music video would absolutely be a blessing, not just because of dancing to her songs, but I’ve always looked up to her.
I have a million different things that I’d want to do if I won the money. I could put it towards my career, future house/payments, or even start something with it! I’ve thought about owning my own gym, or a dance studio and teaching. I could donate the money to organizations, help pay off my family’s debts/payments. I could split it all between!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
