In my life I am a dance teacher and choreographer at a small studio in the countryside. I teach all styles, all ages and all levels! My inspiration started as a form of movement to help me as a figure skater and it later became my full passion as I transitioned to being a full time dancer. My love for seeing the happiness of dance fill the hearts and souls of kids around me fuels my life. Being able to watch them grow into not only talented dancers but amazing people is my inspiration.
I have always been so infatuated with Ciara's career and personality that it has been a dream of mine to be a part of anything that she does. It is my all time dream and goal to move forward in the dance world and show my students that you can achieve your dreams no matter who you are or where you come from. Being able to be a part of such an amazing opportunity surrounded by such an amazing and talented woman like Ciara would change my life forever in ways even beyond dance.
Currently, I am studying Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. I work alongside kids and adults with severe medical and physical disabilities. While taking this degree and working with these lovely people I got to thinking about a way I could mix dance with my practice. I have been working to save to fund a program that allows people with disabilities to attend dance classes. This money would go towards funding the staff and caregivers needed to create this program!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
