I would say I am a well rounded dancer. Coming from a competition dance studio and extra industry training, I am inspired by everyone around me. We all want the same things but it's just the matter of who can put in the amount of work to get there. I grew up watching dance based movies, my favorites being Stomp The Yard and Honey. My favorite all time artists are Aaliyah, Ciara, Destiny's Child, and Tyla, really picking up on their styles and the way they move and starting never ending trends
I grew up dancing to her music and watching her music videos as a kid and so it would be a full circle moment for me. Seeing myself in one of my favorite artists music videos would push me to keep going even further. I've had numerous moments of wanting to give up on my dance career and doubting myself because of how hard I try and slowly seeing little progress and so I feel that this opportunity would give me motivation to work even harder and remind myself that I can do anything that I desire
With $20,000, I would use it to help out my parents. Being an only child, seeing my parents working everyday with sleepless nights and stressful days, really just shows how much they love and care for me. All my life they've supported me in everything I choose to do no matter how much it costed and how much money they have. They constantly put me first and make sure I'm happy even if it means they're not. I just want to be able to do what I love and give back to them at the same time
