Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
My dance style is a mix between hip hop and heels. Having two polar opposite genres off danced combined makes way for new moves and a new genre that is rarely seen. New boyz and Ciara have inspired me since youth through hip hop. When I became older, Aliya Janell and Cisco (@ciscochoreography) showed me it’s okay to be feminine and soft in my heels.
Being in Ciara’s music video will impact my life because having this opportunity on my resume will open the door for more dance related job opportunities which is the career I plan on pursuing to my full ability. This will provide me with an income in a career of dance which I can use to invest and pay bills to become financial stable.
With 20,000 I would put a portion of the money towards a handicap safe home for my mom so she can have value of life in the comfort of her future home. I will also donate a portion to a charity that positively guides troubled youth in my community. Specifically one that educates troubled youth about how to navigate in the real world, in hopes to guide them in a positive direction and keep the youth off the streets.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
