I am trained in multiple genres of dance, however hip hop has my heart. There’s something about hitting the beats, grooving with the bass and hyping up an audience that makes my soul dance. I feel the rhythm of the music in my blood, the emotions of the music displays on my face and the story is shown in my moves. It’s not only my passion, it’s my outlet, it’s fun and provokes a good time in any circumstance.
Ciara has always been my inspiration since Goodies! I actually performed to some of her songs in many talent shows and took home first place. I used to own the DVD where she taught her routine to “Get Up” .. I used dance in my room to her music videos on 106 & Park, mimicking her moves. So she has always been a beacon of inspiration in my life. Having this opportunity will absolutely solidify my dreams of becoming a professional dancer and shock the world!
I’ve always dreamed of owning my own dance studio. Teaching my own classes. Having a place where people of all ages and all walks of life can come in and express themselves through dance, creating a safe space for those wanting to perfect their craft. With that kind of money, I can begin the journey on making that dream come true.
