Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. Dance is who I am, not something I do. I am versed in different styles like hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and heels. Ciara has been big inspiration to me. When I was younger I would dance to her videos in my parents living room while watching shows like 106 and park on BET.
This opportunity would impact my life in many ways. It will help with more exposure to the dance world, and open more opportunities to help me excel in dance. It will also help me show the world that you can do anything you put your mind to no matter what life throws at you. It will give me the opportunity to show people you can still chase your dreams no matter what because it’s never too late.
With the 20,000, I would invest in my skincare and hair care business to help profit my non-profit that I would love to start for neglected and abused children. I will be giving back to the community and helping the youth flourish through life no matter what background they come from. I would also use the money to help me continue to take care of and invest in my two year old daughter that I am raising as a single mother on my own.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
