The energy, passion, and storytelling resonated with my spirit, and ignited a flame of inspiration that continues to guide my dance journey. I discovered a language of movement that felt both empowering and authentic. Footwork, groove, and musicality is a humbling yet rewarding process that strengthen my appreciation for the complexity of urban dance. Hip-hop to me is more than just executing steps, it is a conversation between the dancer, the music, and the audience. Dance is my identity.
Sharing the stage with Ciara and icon in the music industry will be an absolute honor. The exposure and recognition gained could open doors to new projects, collaboration, and opportunities to share my passion with a broader audience. This experience would challenge me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace, my vulnerability, and celebrate my uniqueness as an artist.
I would use this opportunity to invest in my dance journey and further develop my skills network and potential as a dancer. I would dedicate a portion of the money to attending dance classes and workshops, led by industry choreographers. I will also attend industry conferences, private coaching, and collaborate with other dancers, choreographers on creative projects. Lastly, I would donate some money to the St. Jude hospital.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
