My dance style varies, I love all dance styles, but hip hop is my specialty! I have many inspirations when it comes to dance like Isadora Duncan from the past but from the future of course Ciara is my number one inspiration. Since 2003 I have been following her career and I have been using her music videos as dance training for myself. I grew up in a middle class household in a small suburb outside of Chicago and my family did not have a lot of money for dance training.
Being in Ciara's music video would impact my life because on a obvious level it would be a lifelong dream of mine to work alongside with my dance idol in life. On a deeper level I think it would show people that dreams are real dreams do come true! Also, I was my grandmother's caretaker for 7 years, she just recently passed away in April of 2024 at 100 and I want to make her proud up in heaven. When she was alive I used to dance for her to Ciara's music.
If I won this competition and was awarded $20,000 I would use a portion of the money for my "do the right thing" initiative, which is in an independent initiative that I started in 2017. I travel state to state in the United States volunteering at different non-for-profit organizations. I would also save a portion of it and I would also donate a portion of it to the Alzheimer's association of America. My grandmother died of Alzheimer's.
