My dance style is something that I truly call my own because my style is whatever that brings me joy. I never had a specific style of dance I wanted to focus on or had enough training in. It was a curse but also a blessing because I was able to find my true interest and imagination in dancing due to extensive observations as a child. I am always trying to expand my dance style but it has been hard with the lack of community I have near me. I would love to be able to dance with a community.
My life would be entirely impacted. I try not to take any experience for granted and yes it could pose a great opportunity afterwards but I would be beyond blessed to even receive a chance at this experience and the lessons I could take on from this would be unforgettable no matter what took place moving forward.
With 20000 dollars I could break my generational curse. I could make more money to relieve my family for the rest of their lives. I would invest and try and give back to what was sacrificed for me. It would be a one in a lifetime chance if I was given this experience so I know I wouldn’t waste any of the opportunities that were made available to me along the way.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
