My dance style focuses on Vogue fem, which incorporates the hidden textures of my femininity. Which ultimately inspires me as a trans woman. So with that being said, what inspires my Vogue is the reflection of my journey. Aka.. swoaaft
To keep it a buck, Being in Ciara‘s music video would be a nod to the younger version of me. She would always be so amazed by the woman in the music videos on MTV. I would tell myself consistently that one day I will grow up and be able to reflect the same energy. Little did I know that hope and dream would actually become my reality once a fantasy.
To be perfectly honest, I would use this towards my gender affirming care. I’m very content where I am in life, but I owe myself this one. This would be a perfect reminder that I am capable of accomplishing a dream.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
