I grew up in the competition scene, doing a lot of contemporary and jazz styles. Now, I have been focusing on my hiphop skills as well as keeping up with jazz and street styles as I study dance at university. I am heavily inspired by performers such as Britney Spears and Tate McRae, as well as some K-pop inspiration too!
One of my biggest goals with my dance career is exposure. I am from a small town in New England where connections are not as prevalent compared to larger cities. This would be the opportunity of a lifetime for me to get a boost into the entertainment industry, which is my dream, all through doing my greatest passion. The doors that would open through dancing for Ciara would be life changing for me in the most positive way.
I believe that if I were to receive the $20,000, I would take part of it to use to further my dance education and gain in skill and knowledge. The rest of the money would be used to help my parents take care of my older brother, who is 21 and living with autism. He is unable to work or live on his own, so it only feels right in my heart to give a portion back to my parents!
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
