My team focuses on hip hop but I have a passion for many different styles. Any time I have an opportunity to take a new class and learn something new I take it. I even take online classes and workouts here at home. As a competitive dancer I’m used to very big movement but commercialized dancing has always been so fun for me as well. As a Pom dancer I’ve learned to hit movements hard but as a ballet dancer I can also be very graceful and mellow.
Being in Ciara’s music video would impact my life by giving me an opportunity to put my talent forward to the world. I would be so grateful to be showcasing my talent next to someone who has accomplished things I can only dream of. I’m always looking for a new challenge in my dance career and a way to make myself a better performer. And of course to make lifelong memories and have a great time.
I would use this money to help start my future career. I want to get ahead as much as possible in my dance career. I want to travel and experience different opportunities including competitions and trying out for college teams. This is no easy task and it will take a lot of work and dedication but I am willing to do it.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
