I’m a freestyle dancer but these past years, I fell in love with voguing the same way I fell in love with dancing. It was dream to find a place I can call home without being so far from it. Harlem being the pivotal of ballroom history, I came to understanding as to why I was learning to vogue. I was learning to express my feelings in a manner that helped me feel better and more comfortable with my femininity.
The impact of being in Ciara’s music video would be enormous and make me really happy and confident of my talents without seeking validation and invalidating myself. I’m usually a perfectionist so I’m really hard on myself. And I love myself dearly, so it would be an honor to work for you if it happens.
To be honest, I would buy my first pair of designer heels and pay my phone bill. But most definitely the heels.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
