I love the fusion of hip hop and contemporary movement, but my favorite step is a classic line in a heel. My comfort zone is definitely more on the soft and smooth side, right next to grooves and flow, but I can be a powerhouse when it’s time. I’m inspired by a wide range of dance icons like Alvin Ailey’s company, Shabba Doo, Michaela DePrince, Cisco, and many more.
First of all, Ciara is one of the top 3 artists on my list of who I’d want to dance for. I feel that being in her music video would essentially help really push my dance career in the direction I dream of it going. I relocated to LA a couple years ago and have been working multiple jobs ever since so I would love to really put all my focus on just dancing professionally.
With $20,000, I would be able to pay off my student debt first, and save the rest to fund my own dance company in the future.
