I have been inspired as a little girl by watching Beyonce and re-inacting her performances. I then decided to study musical theatre in college because I Ioved performing. I found my LOVE for hip hop/commercial dance during my freshman year. The dance style came to me so easily and it was very freeing. Hip Hop Dance is a style that I truly love doing because there aren’t any rules to it, whereas ballet,tap and jazz are very specific. I would find myself always in the studio making DANCE.
Being apart of Ciara’s music video would impact my life by exposing me to real world experiences especially as I am coming out of college in May. It will also show me a different side of the professional industry. I think it would really challenge me in many different ways- stamina, camera presence, movement quality all while enjoying the dance! As I am a college student/about to graduate in May 2025 I would use the money to invest in training,lessons and for the start of my journey of moving to New York City. I am from Akron,Ohio so relocating to a big city is a jump. I also would use some of the money to pay off student loans. My grandma has been a huge inspiration in my life and has done everything that she can to support and giving back to her would mean a lot.
