Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

My dance styles are jazz, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop. I feel most creative in contemporary and jazz but have dance all styles since now for sixteen years. My inspiration came from losing my father as a teenager. I would improve all of my feelings out and it became a safe space for my creativity. Now I teach other women how to find confidence in their bodies and feel free in their movements. That has been a huge inspiration to continue what I do.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

It would mean reaching a child hood dream of mine, something I can show my daughter is possible no matter how long it takes. It would inspire me to continue training and performing in my passion knowing that God’s hands are on me. It would relight a fire inside of me that I know I could use help with.

What would you do with the $20,000?

I would find a studio for my class, Tipsy Toes. It’s a heels class with a twist for women that I’ve been teaching on and off for the last six years. Not being able to find a studio to rent has been a huge a reason I haven’t been able to host the class as much. I would find a place for us to call home and develop more classes for adults and children, including a class for autistic students because there aren’t enough programs around for them.
