My style of dance fuses aspects of Hip Hop, Jazz, and African dance into one. Dance became an early passion of mine as a child; I spent majority of my time watching music videos and learning the choreography. Music created my love for dance, as well as my dream of being a dancer.
I was a college graduate during the COVID pandemic, which put a huge strain on my ability to show my talent to a larger audience. Being in Ciara’s music video would not only give me the opportunity to take my dance career to the next level, but also, it would check off one of the many goals I dreamed of as a child.
One of the biggest reasons I have been unable to grow my dance career is because of financial instability. There are a million dance concepts in my head that don’t get to see the light of day because I can’t afford to make my visions a reality. $20,000 would take away the anxiety of living paycheck to paycheck, and give me to opportunity to create with no boundaries.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
