My dance style is a mix of hip hop, reggaeton, dancehall, heels, jazz and hairography. I have had the privilege to live in very diverse places which have allowed me to learn different styles, cultures, and moves. I love playing with the balance of feminine and masculine movements while dancing. As far as inspiration music videos were my first instructors, I would spend hours in front of the TV learning the newest moves and studying different styles.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be career/life changing. I have dreamed and trained for this opportunity endlessly. Not only would I be dancing next to one of my biggest role models, I would show any young dancer that it doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, how much money you have. If you have a passion for something you can achieve it with hard work and dedication. This opportunity would help launch my dance career and give me the accolades for future projects.
I would use the $20,000 as an investment to my future dance studio which will allow low income families to learn dance and have a positive outlet to escape. The majority of my childhood my family could not afford classes and once I was old enough I taught classes in order to fund the classes I wanted to learn. My future studio will implement this work/study program and those who are less fortunate can still pursue their passions and channel their energy positively.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
