Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
My connection with dance goes beyond technical skills, dance is my safe way of expressing myself. I find myself feeling the most free with in hip hop/jazz funk and contemporary.
Being a part of Ciara’s music video would impact my life greatly. This would be an awesome opportunity to help jump start my career and get my name out there. Also with being in video I can help bring awareness to my condition Ehler’s danlos syndrome, as I strive to teach and inspire young dancers like me to push past the limits others set for them and pursue their dreams.
Receiving the $20,000 would be a huge blessing. I would use the money to participate in master classes and learn from choreographers to help me get my name out there. A portion would also go towards my medical expenses. Having a rare condition means constant testing being done and regular doctor appointments, this money would be able to help me teach other people like me know more about their bodies.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
