To be honest I love all dance styles! From Ballet to Hip Hop. It all depends on the music, so my choreography could have different elements depending on how the music speaks to me. I do lean more into sensual hip hop ( comparison: choreographer Aliya Janell) but I’m open to all. What inspired me to dance was actually Ciara & Shakira! Watching their music videos when I was a little girl had me determined to move like them. I knew I wanted move like water but still give energy in every s
Being in a music video would absolutely give me the confidence I need for dance. I am a realist, so I never considered dance as a career path I could successfully have (even as a little girl), but dance is truly the only passion I have. I know I should be doing something with my passion but I’ve never had the courage to go out there and try. Being in this music video would put my out of my comfort zone but would change the way I think about dance entirely.
Save for a house! I am currently in a three generational household with my partner and his parents. It’s extremely expensive where we live and we save up all the money we can but paying bills, providing for a child, and life in general tends to eat up all your money! We are so close to our goal but it will still take a few years to get there. 20k would not only let us reach our goal but provide a feeling of security and stability for years to come.
