I really fell in the with the dance styles of Gwen Verdon, having gotten the chance to do her Mamba dance in our schools production of "Damn Yankees" dance was always a way for me to feel free and to let loose. As I got older, I got into the world of drag and found a new love for the art, as it really helped me let loose. When I was a teen I worked in a restaurant that would always okay bachata, cumbia, and so much more. The rhythm became infectious as I danced my way through the shift
Being in Ciara's music video I feel would help put me on the map. I've been striving a d working hard everyday to make something of myself to carry on my families legacy and to create my own legacy. I've got so much to give, but I feel with where I am at, I'm stuck, not able to move. But I feel that with such a wonderful opportunity it would help give me that extra push to ensure I can make my dreams come true.
First, I'd pay of some debts that are on the back of my mind. I've had some terrible set backs from circumstances out of my control that have made it difficult to get back on my feet. After that, I'd use some of the funds to invest in my children's book to help get that off the ground. I've got a lot of dreams that I will continue to pursue, and that little extra I feel would get me to a good spot in my life so that I can focus on giving and creating.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
