Ciara has been one of my biggest dance inspirations since I was a little girl, 1, 2 stepping in front of the TV. Her energy, versatility, and confidence always motivated me to express myself through movement. I love hip-hop for its freedom and flow, jazz for its precision and technique, pom for the power and performance aspect, and high kick for the strength and discipline it brings. Dance has always been my way of telling a story, and I’m excited for the opportunity to bring that passion.
Being in Ciara’s music video would be life-changing for me because it’s more than just a dream it’s a full-circle moment. She’s been one of my biggest inspirations since I was a little girl, and to go from watching her to dancing alongside her would be proof that anything is possible with hard work and passion. It would give me the confidence to keep pushing myself as a dancer, open doors to new opportunities, and remind me that no dream is too big.
Winning the $20,000 would be a blessing, and I would use it to invest in my future and help others. First, I would put some of it toward building my dance skills by taking more classes and exploring opportunities to perform. I would also use a portion to support my community by giving back through volunteer work and helping programs that have impacted my life. Lastly, I’d save and invest the rest to create a stable foundation for my family, especially my son.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
