Help me compete to become the Dance Icon and appear in a music video with Ciara and win $20,000!
Something with my style I love is being able to get lost in the music with my fluidity and the waviness of my movements. I usually start out with the vocals of the artist for dancing then throughout the routine, I can change it to dancing to the beat instead. An inspiration for me is seeing dancers who are not afraid to be their authentic self and show others how dance can be a whole spiritual/life-changing experience.
It would impact my life by showing myself that there is a whole world of dance out there and not just in the town that I live in. Being in this music video would be a life-changing experience to be shown how the dance industry is actually formed rather than being in a studio.
What I would do with the $20,000 is use it towards buying myself an apartment/savings for adulthood. I graduated college in May 2024 and with this money I can put it towards my future.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
