Braylen Ferguson

I have a style of dance that we don’t see in today’s entertainers, especially for young boys! Inspired by Michael Jackson and Chris Brown.

Tell us about your dance style or inspiration:

I am inspired by Michael Jackson and Chris Brown’s style of dance. I am a self-taught dancer who has learned, mostly by watching them perform! I study how they transform into something so artistic and command the attention of their audiences. I perform covers of all styles of dance and have taken formal classes to help me grasp the fundamental concepts of dance and technique.

How would being in Ciara's music video impact your life?

By giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dreams as a young aspiring entertainer. I love all aspects of the arts and I am not afraid to go against the status quo. All boys don’t play football, basketball or baseball. Some of us dance. Some of us sing. This is my sport, dance is life!

What would you do with the $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 to help me pursue my dreams of becoming an entertainer. Where I envision myself in the future, requires funds to do so. It requires, headshots, formal dance classes, vocal lessons and acting classes. This will help me to achieve my goals. The same way other youth have opportunities for cheer camps, football camps and other opportunities. I want to be able to do the same.
