I grew up training in lots of styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, acrobatics, hiphop, etc. I would say I mostly resonate with jazz and contemporary. My contemporary incorporates lots of ballet and acrobatic skills, but also sometimes jazz or ballroom. Jazz however, I have grown to feel so confident performing. I feel so powerful and explosive, especially in my Laduca boots! Some inspirations are, Teddy Forance, Lex Ishimoto, Erica Klein, Jordyn Santiago, and Jakevis Thomason.
It would be one of the best opportunities I’ve ever been given. I would learn so much and that knowledge would stay with me through my whole career! I’d hope to meet new friends, to make connections that would last, and to find inspiration through them. I also believe that it would be a great asset to add to my resume. I would sooner be able to afford moving to NYC with my 2 dogs, in order to further my dance career. I love dance and this opportunity will help make it my full time jo
I would save most of it so I can move to New York and pursue my dance career full time! I would also donate some to my local animal shelter, who I adopted my own 2 dogs from! :)
