Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
Growing up I wasn’t really encouraged to dance as much as other things. Yet when I do dance it does way more then encourage me, it allows me to clear my mind, get things off my chest, and communicate as well as connect with not just my fellow movers but with the audience as well. The stage light warms my heart, mind, and soul. Dance not only pushes me out my comfort zone but builds my confidence.
Being in Ciara’s Music video will allow my hard work to be put out into the world. It will allow me to physically see that I can achieve anything I work hard for. This will allow me to be further out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. Not only will I be eternally grateful for the opportunity but I will also look at the opportunity as a way to show any young boy that you don’t have to conform to just the stereotypes of what you are supposed to grow up to be.
I will 50% of it to Why Not You Foundation and the rest will go towards my education in achieving my BFA degree in Dance.
