When dancing, I pull from every facet of my artistic being. With training in various styles ranging from Hip-Hop, Contemporary/Modern, Step, Afro, and Musical Theatre, including Acting and Martial Arts, I blend these styles to express my truest self when I perform. To push and inspire my choices further, I find myself pulling from other large-than-life and expressive performers, including, but not limited to, Jojo Gomez, Doja Cat, and Beyoncé.
Being able to be a part of Ciara's music video would not only impact my life professionally but primarily personally. While to say and put on my resume that I was part of a Ciara music video because my work ethic and love for what I do is massive, the students I have the pleasure to teach and work with would be able to look towards me as an inspiration to keep pursuing their dreams and aspirations would be the impact that matters most to me.
With the $20,000, being able to create more art and getting members of my community involved with said art would be my main objective. This includes creating and sponsoring visuals, films, workshop sessions, and so much more that would better develop artists in my community, then potentially beyond. This would also include supporting local artists, schools, and other organizations that promote artist development within the area.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
