I come from the black cracked roads, and illuminating streetlights, as my stage. From the age of 3, to 18, for 15 years, I was a self-taught Hip Hop dancer. Movies like “You Got Severed,” “Breakin’ “ “Step Up,” taught me, my technique, where Ciara’s music videos, inspired my passion. College, introduced me to more genres, that grew my range of style, and with each personal connection I’ve made, my inspiration has never stopped growing.
It would confirm what God has always told me. “Wait and Trust for what is still unseen” Because I never grew up in a dance studio, I always felt behind or inadequate, but God has built up my confidence, to believe in my ability. Ciara taught me how to dance, so being apart of her art, will just be a dream come true. It will close, a long, awaited circle, proving if you believe, you can do it !
God instructs us to use our talents and gifts to grow His Kingdom, and help others any way we can. So, I would use the 20K to start a non-profit business. Designed to restore hope, push purpose, and love back into communities.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
