My favorite style is definitely hip-hop. It's so much fun, a mood boost, a great release of emotions, and allows me to feel powerful and confident. The beauty of dance is that it encourages community and can be used as an artistic medium for activism. I continue to be inspired by dancers and other artists who choose to use their ability as a form of storytelling, connection, activism and empowerment. It reminds me through dance I can use it to make a difference in the lives of other people.
Being in Ciara's music video would be a dream come true. I have been inspired by Ciara’s dance moves since I was little. Ciara performs with such unique amazing style, persistence, and energy and it would be an honor to learn and dance with her. I know that if I dance with Ciara I'm gonna be pushed to give my all, work hard, and be challenged to “level up.” Working with such an inspiration would be such an amazing way to begin my dance career dreams.
I would use a portion to support my family who has always supported me and is the reason I am who I am today. I would also use it to support the Cameron Boyce Foundation in its causes including finding a cure for epilepsy. Cameron Boyce, a beautiful human activist and dance artist who passed away from SUDEP, greatly inspires me as well. Using his voice and artistic ability, he led movements spreading love and inciting change like clean water access and ending gun violence.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
