Thank you for supporting me in this competition. Your donations and participation will benefit the Why Not You Foundation in their mission to fight poverty through education initiatives that empower youth to lead with a why not you attitude.
My favorite dance styles are jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary because they each offer different ways to express myself. Jazz allows me to bring energy and musicality to the floor, Hip-Hop allows for hype classes with a positive environment, and Contemporary allows me to express myself through fluid movements, as well as allowing me to emotionally connect to each piece. Each style challenges me differently, but all together they grow my love for dance even more.
Being able to have the opportunity to take part in Ciara's music video would be an amazing and unique opportunity that allows me to continue to grow as a dancer because I am getting exposure to new opportunities in the dance world, as well as growing personally throughout this experience. This also allows me to prove to myself that if you put your mind to something, anything can happen.
If I won $20,000, I would put it toward my dance training to continue to be able to grow to my fullest potential.
