I'm really inspired by hip-hop and contemporary dance. I love how hip-hop allows me to express my energy and swag, while contemporary helps me tap into my emotions and tell stories through movement. Growing up, I was obsessed with watching music videos by artists like Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake. Their choreographers' creative routines and formations really influenced my own dance style. Now, I find inspiration on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Being in a music video with a major artist like Ciara would be an incredible opportunity. I'd get to meet and work with her, which would be a dream come true. I'd learn so much from the experience, from the choreographers, stylists, and other dancers. It would also be a great way to get my name out there and potentially open doors for future opportunities in the entertainment industry. I might even get to perform on stage with Ciara or other artists.
Honestly, I'd put around $10,000 towards college tuition. Then, I'd invest $5,000 in a smart way, like a Roth IRA, to start building wealth for my future. The remaining $5,000 would go towards getting a reliable car, traveling, or doing career-boosting things that'll help me achieve my goals.
The search is on for eight dancers to be flown to a live judged event in Phoenix, AZ, showcasing their skills to Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaica Craft. One will be chosen to appear in her upcoming music video and win $20,000!
