I am grateful to be in constant discovery of the multitude of dance styles there are. I started in competition dance, and then transitioned into modern and post-modern dance with my dance program at university. Being able to explore both of these realms of dance is extremely fascinating… Not to mention extremely eye-opening! I had a pretty narrow view on what dance was in my mind before dancing in the San Diego State University dance program, and I appreciate dance more now than ever.
I will be graduating with a degree in dance at my university, and this will be a catalyst to get my dance career moving and grooving. Ciara’s music video will be an opportunity for me to share and radiate my passion for dance, and honestly a fabulous platform to spread my enthusiasm about life. If I could put a smile on someone’s face/ help motivate them to go after what they want in life, I’m more than content with that trajectory in life. Now let’s do this!!
This $20,000 would most likely be invested in my savings (majority of it, not all of it). You never know when something is going to happen in your life, and having this for when the unexpected happens is something that I know my future self would thank me for. With some of the money, I would take my dad to Disneyland because he has been talking to me about going for the past few years (he wants to “feel the magic”). I would also positively to Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego
