My dance style embraces eclecticism, blending hip-hop, breakdance, belly dance, ballet, modern, and jazz. I adapt each style to fit my body’s strengths—and even its weaknesses. Musicality is everything to me. I don’t aim to be literal, but I let the beat drive my movement. I want to be more than just a dancer—I want to be the physical embodiment of music, letting sound shape my every step in a way that feels natural, expressive, and uniquely mine.
I’ve lived both sides—the grind of pre-professional training and the stability of a traditional career. I know what it’s like to stand on the edge of artistic freedom and to put dreams on hold for the “practical” path. Now, I’m taking a leap, betting on myself to prove I still have it. Being in Ciara’s video would be more than a dream—it’s my chance to show myself and other dancers that we never lost it. Our bodies may change, but WE HERE.
During the pandemic, my mother made sacrifices for me, giving up her dream home to move closer for my well-being. She bought a new home at exorbitant prices, and now, as a retiree, she’s in a place far below what she had. This is likely her forever home, but I want better for her. I’d use the $20,000 to renovate her house or help her move, giving her the dream home she once had. She sacrificed for me—now it’s my turn to give back and make that possible.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
