I predominantly dance in hip hip and contemporary. My inspiration for dance comes from when I was a child being in awe of all music videos and dance movies. I fell in love with the emotion, skills, creativity, and community that comes with it. A true inspiration would be the movie Honey, she worked hard to not only have a career of her own but also provide a safe place for her community as well.
Being in Ciara’s music video would fulfill one of my longest dreams. I have always aspired to get the chance to perform with an icon; being able to look back on it and share the memories. Performing is a rush and if I were to get to chosen I would hope to continue on bringing life to the stage and influence others who grew up like me to never stop chasing your dreams.
Being raised by a struggling single mom, we were never able to have a home of our own. I am the youngest in my family, so I have always been appointed to bring success within my family. I put my passion for dance to the side to be the first to attend college and get a good job. If I were to win the $20,000, the main option for me would be to use this money as a down payment to buy the first home in my family.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Entrepreneur of Impact, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
