I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, and I've always had a great love for it. I cannot put into words how much I love this form of art. If I am ever having bad or stressful days, dancing makes me feel so much better. I've had experience in all dance styles, but my favorites are hip-hop, contemporary, and jazz. When dancing these styles, I feel like my movement quality, energy, and stage presence stand out, as I can be elegant and graceful, as well as dynamic and hard-hitting.
This would be a childhood dream come true. My dreams of being a dancer started when I was young. There were many times I got knocked down by people or myself, thinking I was not good enough. This experience will prove to myself that I am capable of doing amazing things. Also, learning from such an idol can give me the tools and connections needed to further this career. I want to live a life I love, and dancing and helping others through dance the way it helps me is what I want to do.
I recently just graduated from school and have been working full-time. I have been struggling to figure out what I want to do with my life and feel pressure to figure it out soon. This money would give me the time and resources needed to work towards my career goals. Like taking more classes, workshops, and mentorships to work towards a career in choreography. Lastly, it would help prepare me for my future by paying for my postgraduate education and helping those in my life that need it.
